Charges but wont turn on

My Coby model no: MPC7095 charges when i plug it into my computer and opens up the songs that are added on the player, but once i take it out of the computer and try turning it on by hitting the on button, nothing happens. got any solutions that would work for this one? and hitting the reset button or keeping my fingers on the on button for a long time doesnt work either.

SOURCE: Coby MP3 player doesnt work anymore

I have the same problem with mine. Just return it to the company with a copy of the receipt and six dollars to pay for the shipment of the replacement. If you've had it for more than ninety days though I don't know what you could do.

SOURCE: coby mp-c7095 mp3 player will not charge was working but not now

I bought a Coby mp-c7095 and could not get it to turnon. I charged the battery for more then 24 hours and it still would not turnon.

The problem was easily fixed. The red battery wire was pinched during assembly and shorted to the back cover. I put a small piece of tape over the bare wire and carefully reassembled the unit. Now it works great!

SOURCE: transfer pictures to coby mpc7095

Turn on your coby player and go in settings/USB mode. Then select MSC mode. Plug it to your computer and drag and drop your files from their emplacement to the PHOTO.DIR directory.

My Coby mp3 2 gb model number MPC7095 wont turn on

1 Unplug anything that is connected to the player. This includes headphones, power cables and USB cables.

2 Locate the reset hole on the back of the player. This is a tiny opening in the bottom right corner on the back of the device that features a recessed button that will reset the device.

3 Insert a pin or other long, thin needle into the reset hole.

4 Press and hold the reset button for a few moments until the device resets. The screen will reset and the player will be restored to its original setup.

I ADDED SONGS TO MY COBY MP815 USING WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER AND NOW IT WONT TURN ON. I PLUG IT INTO MY COMPUTER USING MY USB AND WHEN I UNPLUG MY USB FROM THE MP815 THE SCREEN FLASHES WHITE FOR A QUICK...

Hello,

Assuming the player is charged. (For charging always connect directly to the computer, not through a reader or hub).
When buttons on the player do not react, reset the player:
Disconnect the player from the computer.
See that the HOLD button is not engaged.
Gently push the RESET button on the rear side: use a narrow pointed
object, like a paperclip.

Did synchronization of the songs in Windows Media Player fail ?
For transferring songs, check in Windows Media Player:
1. The player is detected in Windows Media Player 10 or higher.
2. Setup the Library / Add to Library: add the location of songs you want to transfer in the library.
3. Create Playlist; give the list a name and put songs in a playlist
4. Sync Playlist: transfer the list of songs onto the player and wait for the message until you're allowed to disconnect.

Coby mp3 mpc7095 wont turn on

I work for Coby technical support. Our customer service phone number is 1-800-727-3592.

Thanks for using FixYa.

If the unit is no longer turning on after being adequately charged, unfortunately, it needs to be replaced. The unit can not be fixed. The warranty is 90 days from the date of purchase. The only option available to you through the manufacturer would be an out of warranty replacement for $31.

If you feel this solution doesn't deserve a good rating, please let me know why so that I may better assist you. If there is anything more I can do to help, I will!

Make sure the hold switch is turned off..that will restrict you from turning it on, besides that, the battery is not holding a charge, you will need a warranty replacement, please call:

Hey

Try plugging the unit directly into the computer tower and not use the extension cable, plug it directly into one of the rear ports on your computer. This unit actually hardly ever breaks because its a simple flash drive.

Coby mpc7095 2gb player has lots of songs on it but PC won't pick them up

I changed the settings in system tools >USB settings to MCS mode and then you can access all lthe files on your coby player through your PC and move them into the appropriate folder. It seems all your music has to go into the music folder. The Coby player isn't the most user friendly and is buggy. If they fix the programming, it would be a good competitor to ipod.
