I have Kenmore range model# C880-639539J2. Do you have any leads on an exploded-type diagram of said door? I've tried to locate it online, so far, without success. Hope you can do better. Thank you.

Kenmore 790.8033 over the range micro lost power after opening door while cooking. Outlet & breaker ok. Does my model have both line & thermal fuses?no diagram so far

First off there is supposed to be no possible way to open the door while running. I would think that something in that circuit that you can't repair so that it is repaired the proper way, I will get to searching for you.

Need to replace door handle for Kitchenaid over-the-range microwave, Model: KHMS2050SSS - 0

You usually get better search results by leaving off any dashes or spaces in a model number.
Normally you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the photo) and then you'll see the previously hidden screw(s) you need to remove.
Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) that demonstrates how it's done.

In some cases, you then have to gently rotate the handle to unlock it.

You can find helpful literature and exploded view diagrams with part numbers here and you can order parts from the Pros here.

What does F4 on microwave display mean?

This Kenmore is made by LG for Whirlpool. Confused yet? :D

F4 means you have an open humidity sensor.

There should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

At our Web site here, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

To find helpful exploded view diagrams and get part numbers, you can just enter your full model number at the Sears parts site.

A full Sears/Kenmore model number has 3 digits, a dot, then 8 more digits, such as ###.########

But Sears parts can usually be obtained for far less here by entering either the part number.

I need to replace the plastic button that is pushed to open door on the R1470a Sharp Microwave. where can I purchase this part?

What usually breaks is the door open lever, but it may also be that the rear side of the door open button has worn down too far to work.

On an over-the-range model, only the control panel needs to be
removed.

Please unplug the oven first.

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

Once it is apart, you'll be able to see how the door open button would press against the door open lever, which would then lift up against the door latch heads (hook-like projections on the door) and the door should open.

You can find handy exploded views at the Sears Parts Site.

You can find links to helpful exploded view diagrams and part ordering help
here. (Part prices for Sharp parts is usually best here)

I recommend that you bookmark that link to your favorites.

GE Spacemaker door was jammed to far opened - now it does not work

You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order any needed parts by entering your full model number here.

You will need to look it over to see if anything in the door / hinge area got damaged. If so, those damaged parts will need to be replaced.

In some cases with over the range models, you will have to remove the oven from the wall and take off the outer cover to see everything.

You can download GE owner's manuals and installation instructions here.

Replacing the outer frame on a kenmore microwave door.

It's really not too hard.

The first piece of advice would be not to remove the door from the oven or tamper with the hinges. The alignment of the hinges is important to prevent microwave leakage, which can lead to burns and damage.

Door Won't Close

What usually breaks is the door open lever, but sometimes there's just a grease buildup around the door open button.

On a counter top model, the outer cover will need to be removed to diagnose and repair this. On an over-the-range model, only the control panel needs to be removed.

Please unplug the oven first.

If you or someone you know wants to look into this, we have critical safety, disassembly, and troubleshooting info at our site, and our link is at our listing here on FixYa.
