I have almost the same problem....prints only part, then garbage!

I recently started having this same problem...I can only seem to get 1/3 to 2/3 of any document to print, then the L7680 starts printing page after page of one-line garbage. No error messages. What is the deal? It was working fine and nothing has changed except a patch that was supposed to FIX things from HP.

SOURCE: HP IIIp prints extra blank pages

HI there make sure that the paper tray guides are fully against the paper also try sending the job through the manual feed to see if you get the same problem. If you do not then it maybe that the paper cassette separation pad is worn and will need replacing. If your model has no rubber pad at the front of the cassette then you will have a metal hold over one corner of the paper make sure that when the paper lifts that the paper sits under the silver (Dog Ear) as this acts as a separator.

Hope this helps
Thanks J

SOURCE: HP L7680 Print Head Problem

Sometimes the circuit strip that sits at the back of the printhead carriage is the problem due to moisture, ink soiling, etc...

To clean these you need some cotton buds (like you use to clean your ears) and gently clean the area at the back of the printhead carriage (where the printheads slot into).

This removes any ink, or moisture that could be causing a short circuit or similar.

SOURCE: Can I scan multiple pages by using the document

Hi,

Yes, you can do this by knocking together the sheets you want to scan into a small, lined-up stack and then put them face up, in the ADF loader.

Bear in mind it can only handle so many sheets at a time (think it's 15?) so don't stuff it with too much or it'll choke.

Remember also that it needs nice straight edges, not dog-eared bits of scrap paper otherwise it'll mis-feed or crumple your source documents.

Oh and you'll need to make sure the software you're using can actually make use of the ADF... The HP provided software can, but it may take a little bit of experimentation to figure out the best, most-appropriate settings.

Hope that helps..

SOURCE: HP Laserjet 1200 prints pdf documents slow

pdf documents are historically slow, they usually depend on how they are created and how many attachments or upgrades have been added to the document. this accounts for some of the variations of speed the documents are printed.

Have you verified that fuel pressure is correct?
You might want to remove the injector rail and inspect it inside for a rust or garbage that can be clogging injectors.

If printer runs out of paper and you refill starts

The continuous printing issue can be fixed following this link

http://www.fixya.com/support/r5095488-unable_print_hp_printer

Regarding Gibberish printing or say garbage printing, If the above utility does not fix this issue, probably the printer drivers are corrupted, and you may have to uninstall the printer software from your pc and download and reinstall the latest drivers. this link below will let you choose the operating system of your PC and download the drivers

It's printing garbage

http://www.brother-usa.com/Support/?WT.svl=support

You can contact the company for support and also download a manual here if you do not have one. There are alot of support options for your printer here. I can find no reference to the garbage printing and the numbers it is printing.

The only thing that I can suggest is to turn it off, unplug it, disconnect it and let it sit for 1/2 hour to see if it will reset itself. Then I would plug it back in, connect to the computer and restart the computer. Then I would turn the printer back on. Some printers respond well to this simple reset.

Good luck to you and thank you for using FixYA. Ratings are always appreciated.

Problems with SRP 270AP - it prints garbage

Garbage in garbage out. I reckon that printers will only print what data they are sent. So reinstall drivers on both computers in the first instance then report back
