I have a Sharp atomic clock, with the wording FC SHARP SPC374T on the back.
I have lost the directions on how to reset it, and when I tried, it wants to pull a different time even if I set it to the current time. I also am not getting the outside temperature to show a reading ( wireless thermo clock)
For the Sharp SPC374T Atomic Clock - Time Zone setting- Press the 'Time' button once, the time zone will show where 'Day' usually is, use the Up or Down buttong to adjust.
For the outdoor Thermo, credit to my neighbor for this one. Remove battery from main unit, wait 2-3 minutes. Reload batteries. Once you get a reading from the outdoor sensor, hit the reset on the main unit. You will have to reset the time zone as described above, but this worked for me after 10 months of no outside temp showing up!

Not all Sharp Atomic Clocks similar, mine has Mode, Set, Adjust, and Receive buttons. Above instructions didn't change zone indicator from Pacific to Central, just time from 8 to 10. We'll see if the signal corrects it back to Pac time, which will mean we haven't effectively solved the problem, much less perfectly.
On my Sharp Atomic Clock Model SPC374T there is a small box on the front in the lower right "OUT TEMP" section that says "CH" for channel. Mine is set to display channel 1. How do you change it to display either channel 2 or channel 3?

I have a dumb question. I received a Sharp atomic clock from my brother that had no instructions but I managed to get it set to the correct time zone and the correct time on it...my question is, do you hang the outside sensor actually outside and where would you hang it out there?
Yes, the outside sensor goes outside. Check one thing first. Take the back off the unit and make sure the very small black seal is intact so it will not maisture or rain in it.
My goal when I placed it outside was to not put it in direct sunlight. I have a manual thermometer outside my kitchen window to catch the sun,
You can mount it under an eave on your house to try to keep it out of direct sun and rain.
Press the channel button on the back of the clock and keep pressing until it displays the channel you want.

Thanks to one of the postings I was able to fix my Sharp atomic clock. It kept coming up in Pacific time when we wanted Eastern time. I hit the "time" button 3 times until PA showed up in the day position. Then I used my up and down buttons to change it to the correct time zone. My outside temperature has been working well. Once you change the batteries you need to leave the receiver and the clock pretty close together until they start communicating again. I hope this helps you.
Here is an update on how to change the outdoor sensor. When I changed the batteries I also changed the channel and hit the reset button. Then I hit the receive button on the clock and changed the channel to the one on the sensor. It's working! If need be you may have to reset your clock and go through all the manipulations of changing your clock to the appropriate settings and hit receive again, but that shouldn't be necessary. So my rule of thumb will be to change the channel every time if just pressing the receive button doesn't work. I hope this helps those that are having trouble with their outdoor sensor.

Angelhouse, i have the same type of Atomic clock with the same buttons. I "finally" figured out how to change the time zone. Hold down the "+" button and the time zones will change!! Good luck
Thank you albrezy1, holding down the button worked perfectly. I needed this solution once before, but it was longer ago than 3 months. Perhaps you posted the solution before or some other helpful person took the time to post it. I would have probably gotten it eventually as I dimly remembered something about the and - buttons, but not exactly what. This was much better though. This time I engraved your method on the plastic stand/cover with a carbide tipped engraving pen.

Thank you thank you. Although the buttons on my no-hame clock aren't like those mentioned here, I was able to find the right button and continue to click the + button until the correct time zone appeared. My husband has been trying to make the correction for a month. You are making me look good.

I have a no name clock and am also trying to reset the time zone. I have tried the method of pressing the + sign for the time zone. It is not working. Do you mean to keep clicking a way at the + sign? When I do press the + sign is does activate the atomic satelite. Shoud I wait for it to set itself or keep clicking? Helllllp!

The way to set the time zone on my "wireless thermo clock" no name brand. This clock has 5 buttons in front. just below the display screen, large round up/down button on left side, small round button to the right side that says channel, 2 buttons below that says mem and mode, medium round button below them that says alarm on/off. to set the time, hold mode button, 3secs, use up down to change, mode again to set month, yr, etc, cycle through. To set time zone, hold up button 3 secs, cycle through. hold down button (up/down are depressions onthe same large button) to initiate remote sync for outside unit. use channel button to change receive channel.
i was still not able to sync with outside unit, even after changing/ re-setting channels on both units., but time zone change was important.
Your clock may be set to the incorrect time zone? That had me stumped for a little while. To set the correct time zone press and hold the time button, setting first the hour, minutes, then seconds. After the seconds are set the time zone field should be open to change. It may not be flashing like the time did. toggle up or down through the time zones to find your correct one. The clock may not allow you to do this each time you try to set the time, but three or four tries of toggling through the time set process it should give you that option. Good luck!
I have a wall mounted sharp atomic clock and I cant seem to get an outside tempature reading from the remote. I changed the batteries and also reset the clock. I even changed the frequency to see if that would work with no change. What do I do now?

I have a Digiview travel atomic clock. Battery went dead and when I replaced it the time zone is stuck on Pacific time. I set the time to Eastern time and overnight the time changes to PT. I have three "set" buttons MODE, +, - and two set alarm buttons. When I hold down the mode button for 3 seconds I can change everything, time, date, day, but not the time zone. Any suggestions ?? Can't find the little paper instruction sheet that came with it.
For ANY problem with your spc373, you need to call the Berger Corporation - they own Sharp. For instant customer service, call Sheila at 718-391-8992. After a lot of nonsense, I just ordered a new sensor, for $13.50, including shipping. Apparently these sensors are not completely weatherproof. Be sure to specify which sensor you have. There are 2 types of sensors. One has a red LED directly about the "433MHz" - referred to as "Red Dot."

Solution: For the Sharp model SPC-304 atomic clock...to correct the TIME ZONE click on the MODE button so it displays the alarm...then the SET button and watch for the shaded zone to flash. Use the ADJUST button to move it to your zone. After making any other adjustments hit the MODE button again and all should be well.
For the Time Zone setting- Press the "Time" button once, the time zone will show where 'Day' usually is (e.g., "PA" for Pacific), use the Up or Down button to adjust. Press the time button once to save.
My solution for resetting the outside temp on sharp spc374t was to just remove the batt. for about 5min and reset your time zone ,then hit the receive button and wait for it to find the correct time.
My clock and inside temps are fine, and i am getting outside temp off of something else; because i lost my outside emitter, don.t have one! wher am i getting reading from?
Try holding the wave and + down at the same time. May have to do it a couple of times to get to the right time zone, that's what worked for me
I have a Sharp Atomic Clock, model no. SPC 323. I cannot get the time zone off of Pacific Time. I want to change it, but to no avail. I have the instructions, but still cannot figure it out. My clock is always 3 hours off. :(
When I changed the batteries on the outside sensor I did not have the temp showing on the clock. I hit took the batteries out of the clock thinking that would reset it the clock went blank. I stuck a paper clip in the rest ont the clock and hot the buton on the time zone I waitrf until 2am and the clock reset itself. It did not set the outside temp. Finally after a few hours of sticking a paperclip in the resent button on the sensor until it blinked and changing the channell on the sensor and the clock and hitting the test and receive button over and over...one of those combinations worked and now my outside temp is working.

SHARP SPC900. push the time button once to activate the alarm mode in the lower left of the screen. While in that mode pouch the up button until the correct time zone is shown.

Sharp atomic clock spc374t has stopped reading the outside temp as well. I've changed to new batteries in both the clock and sensor. It will read the sensor for about an hour then goes back to bars. Is there anything else I can try?
I am also having trouble getting the clock to accurately read the outside temperature. It shows correctly on the outside unit, but the clock inside just flashes a reading of 94 (it's 46!). The batteries have been changed (several times) and that reading is the only thing not working. Any recommendations?
Sharp SPC374T Atomic clock does not post outside temp even after battery change and time zone correction. Sharp does not have a user friendly web site and I cannot find an ownership manual on line. Despite setting the channels on 1,2 or 3 the outside temp still does not show.
Thanks to the BikingMom post, I was able to see the last option to change the time zone. The 5th time seemed to be the charm--AFTER I changed my batteries twice. The time zone option will show up in the same spot as the DAY. I have no idea why you have the option to change the seconds, but look in the DAY section after you hit the TIME button for the 3rd time. You'll see PA for Pacific Time (that's the default), MO for Mountain, CE for Central, and finally EA for Eastern. Cannot recall how to set my time zones....Wish I could find my manual....

Batteries went dead. Replaced them but am not able to reset time.
My atomic clock works properly. However, my outside temperature sensor doesn't. When I changed the batteries to the outside sensor, the display on the sensor can barely be seen and it doesn't indicate the actual temperature (celsius or farenheit). The indication of the outside temperature on the clock blinks at the same temperature it was when the problem started (2 days ago). Can the sensor be corrected, or do I need a new outside sensor? If so, how do I get one? It is about 4 years old.

CHANGING THE LANGUAGE: When I hold onto the + and - together, it rotates from EN (English), SP (Spanish), FR (French).
TOGGLE ALARM ON/OFF: Just hit the ALARM ON/OFF button
SETTING THE ALARM: Hit [MODE] which will switch the AL. Then hold onto [MODE] for 2 seconds to set the alarm hour and minute.Â

I have the same problem with a GE5805ACT3 atomic clock. It didn't change for daylight savings...it's never done this before. I tried to change it manually, but it went back to the other time. I thought I would reboot it, by taking out the batteries, but when I replaced them, it is stuck on a different date and time (which I can't seem to alter). The only thing that is accurate is the temperature. Seems odd that so many of us are having this problem.
