How do i reset factory settings on my sceptre 50" tv

Your Tv has entered the demo mode. There is a code to cancel it. But I do not have it. Try resetting to factory settings. Or search 'viewsonic tv flashing different colours' on fixya. There are many solutions for various brands.

If possible you would need to gather information on how to get into the tech menu to do this.

Either Google the model number with "reset" or contact the mfr of the set

enter the Menu screen, slect Setup, select 'Advanced Selection" go to 'Service 1' ; select 'Restore Defaults' nd press 'enter'. User "Up' 'Dn" and " > " & "< " keys on the remote control to select these options.
