Pro form 515 changes speeds on its own periodically

A reset button won't fix that unless you think it is a software glitch. This says it is the Speed Sensor.

Adjust the speed sensor very weel see the diagram attached, tigh the connector wires very well, and clean the s. sensor very well.

2) Run the software calibration for easy diagnose , fix it, and trouble.according with your manual instructions.

HI,
You have to check the speed sensor near the mottor pully. If the speed sensor is fulty or if its coverd with dust then speed can vary. Another reson for speed variation is the Faulty carbon brush in the motor. I have added the picture of speed sensor for reffarance . Also the link will help you for the regular maintenance of the treadmill.

if you have any idea yo open the machine ,open there will be 6 screws and check there will be fan below the compressor

1. fan is stopped
2. leakage from the tube side from the compressor end
3. crack in muffler attached to the compressor
4. check removing the humidifier bottle for the same complaint
5. sieve tank is last

My pro form cardiocrosstrainer 800 has a timing, speed, and calarie
diplay problem. It does not work. How do i fix the problem with on the console display.

I lost the manual to the pro-form 520. How do you tighten the belt? Where can I order a new or find the on line manual?

I believe E4 on ths 730si means that the speed of the motor the sensor is detecting is greater than the set speed. E2 would be the opposite. I believe there is a way to calibrate the speed. Look at the smaller motor controller board.
