Check for lint buildup on the "Hi Limit Themostat" located above the heating element. There is a thermostat kit that you can get and replace all three at once. This will make sure your dryer runs safe and up to its required operational limits. The lint buildup may cause the thermostats to get out of the tolerance. Here is a link to the thermostat kit.

check and see if the iginter is loose or not making good contact

The model says electric and is listed as gas. If it is electric. Move all the settings (exercise the controls) If that does not work Turn both of the breakers off at your electric panel and back on. If one feels loose you know it may have tripped and you just reset it. Your drier will work fine now. Just turn it on.

your thermal fuse is out. for wpl s the thermal fuse allows dryer to heat. maytag dryers the thermal fuse blows and the dryer will not start

check your ignitor

Sounds like the heating element or coil is out, but it could also be the board to. At any rate, if your not getting any heat what so ever, its more than likely electrical and its best to take it in. If it gets some kind of heat, then you might try cleaning out your dryer vents really good, and also in the dryer. Hope this helps.
