Washer stops midcycle and displays E:03. Will not drain

Would suspect you have a bad lid switch, may instead have a problem with the neutral drain of the transmission, but suspect you only need to replace the lid switch. The control panel is secured at the end caps, usually screw in back, or putty knife in base to release, control panel rotates up, remove whole cabinet if necessary, all front serviceable,(if it stops in the same spot it is in the timer though)

You have something in the drain lines. Possibly a coin or other objects.

Here is what you need to do:
- Clean out the drain pump catch.

- Pull the suction boot off the drain pump, clean out any gook.

- Blow through the drain hose starting from the connection at the pump.

- Verify operation or replace the drain pump

This is more than likely going to be a problem with the pump.The pump is not draining water so the machine isn't progressing any further.The pump may be blocked with something or the pump is seized.

“F21” (AKA SD) is a Long (SLOW) Drain error (LD). If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a “SUDS” error may also be displayed. This may be an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:


1.First, attempt to unplug the washer for at LEAST 30 minutes to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code returns, proceed to step 2.
2.Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
3.Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
4.Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.

The drain filter is located on the bottom left corner behind the little door.  Remove the door and the filter is located there.
