My whirlpool duet 7.0 dyer wont start the light on the inside of the dryer wont come on either but the panel light work. When I press start it wont spin.

Thanks for using FixYa. To reset the dryer you’ll need to press and hold the END OF CYCLE button for 10-15 seconds. The Control Lock is a designed safety feature that enables the us
to lock the control panel to prevent small children from manipulating
the controls and accidentally starting the appliance.
The
controls can be easily locked or unlocked by pressing and holding
the following button on the front panel:
Whirlpool Duet Washer -
Press and hold the END OF CYCLE SIGNAL button for 3 seconds to 10
seconds.

I have the same problem. Tech guy says it's the electronic panel, doen't have one and it will be 10 days to get it and $370.00 to fix?
Anyone have a service manual?
Sound like the unit doen't know the door is closed the door switch is not working. does the light inside the drum come on when the door is open and off when the door is closed
Possible door s/w or thermal fuse. If its blowing thermal fuses with a clean and avg vent run check the relay, cycle unit with no heat fuction if the heat still comes on replace the relay board. Call your local servicer.
