Luxor is a budget brand made in Turkey for the Swedish market. You likely have failing components, probably electrolytic capacitors. You put the set on, they warm up and fail. Check the Source or Input button on the remote. It sounds like you have changed to a source where there is no signal.

If you have a SCART socket on the back of the TV (it's an optional extra to basic models) then connect the out scart from your Sky box to the scart on the tv. The tv will sense the scart signal and automatically switch itself to use it as it's input signal.

You must check your input signal...how is signal being sent to your' TV....set TV to THAT input type
