Programme Selector Dial Numbers

Some of the numbers on the selector dial have worn off. Can someone please give me a diagram of the layout of the numbering or direct me to where I might find such a disgram.
Thanks

I have replaced the knob & front panel showing the cycles but again it has worn off. The electrician said I was using bleach - I wasn't but even if I was the parts should still be fit for purpose, including bleach.

How do i reset washing machine AEG 64840

You can choose the right programme for any type of laundry following the descriptions on the washing programme tables (see «Washing Programmes»).
Turn the programme selector dial to the required programme. The programme selector determines the type of washing cycle (e.g. water level, drum movement, number of rinses) and the washing temperature according to the type of laundry.
The pilot light of button 8 starts blinking.
The selector dial can be turned either clockwise or anticlockwise. Position "0" to Reset programme/ Switching OFF of the machine.
At the end of the programme the selector dial must be turned to position "0", to switch the machine off.
If you turn the programme selector dial to another programme when the machine is working, the yellow pilot light of button 8 will blink 3 times and the message Err is displayed on the display to indicate a wrong selection. The machine will not perform the new selected programme.

Err code displayed and fails start

Turn the programme selector dial to the required programme.
The selector dial can be turned either clockwise
or counter-clockwise. The green pilot light of the button
9 starts flashing: the appliance is now switched on.
If you turn the programme selector dial to another programme
when the appliance is working, the red pilot light
of the button 9 will flash 3 times and the message Err is displayed to indicate a wrong selection.
The appliance will not perform the new selected programme.
• To switch the appliance off, turn the programme selector
dial to the position .
• To cancel or change a running programme, switch the
appliance off by turning the programme selector dial to the
position
. Select the new programme by turning the selector
to the desired programme. Start the new programme
by pressing the button 9 again. The water in the tub will be
not emptied out.

Stuck on prewash flashing and rinse hold flashing and C9 i have an AEG86800

Try reset. reset it by Holding the Start Button whilst turning the dial through 360 (from Off-2-Off). If not helps first time. Then try it again. --------- If that does not helps then try this procedure as follows:--- Set selector dial to off. Hold in "pre wash" and "soaking" buttons together. Turn the selector dial anti clockwise from "off" to "short spin". Turn the selector dial clockwise to "energy saving" ---------- But if the unit is not getting reset then there is a problem in the motor brushes. The brushes are worn out and that needs to be replaced. You can get required parts from www.repairclinic.com

Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

W83t, programme selector knob keeps clicking over clockwise. is it just a faulty switch?

No it is not a faulty switch, it is the selector switch going round because of another fault on the washer, it is usually associated with a faulty control module.
Check your handbook and see if there nis a reset point on the selector switch dial, usually marked with one or more solid black dots.
Hope this helps.

Indeset w101 washing machine programer, we set the

Depending on the model you may have a reset point on the selector switch dial.
This is usually indicated by 2 or 3 black dots on the dial.
If it has , then switch the m/c off, set the dial to one of these points, switch on and wait until light fashes, switch off, and reselect your programme.
It should now work normally.
If it does not, then there is probably a control board fault.
If there is no reset point, then again it is likely to be a control board fault.
Please rate my solution.
Thankyou.

Dial keeps rotating

This a common problem with Indesit washers..
It is not a timer but a programme selector switch.
What you need to do is the following.
Switch the m/c on, let the drain pump empty the water, then switch the m/c off.
set the selector switch to one of the black dots on the dial, which is stop/reset.
Then switch washer back on, if the dial still keeps going round and round, then you are going to have to call an engineer, as you have what is called an Anomaly (fault).
Plz leave feedback for this solution.
Thanks

Select the pattern selector dial that is solid green on the right hand side. Set the dial to "3" position. Sew the right side. Raise the needle.

Select the pattern selector dial that is solid green on the top and bottom. Set the dial to "4" position. Sew 5-6 stitches and raise the needle.
