Sound that the power supply section has the fault. Seek tech support.

You need to confirm if the power switch is working as the button is stuck . So it is best to get this part corrected before we move to the remote as the power switch or the button aligment can be corrected if you open to check the continuity.

Hold down the power button and unplug the unit. Now release the power button. Plug the unit back into the wall. Now press the button. The system should power up.

I had the same problem. I held down the power button while plugging the unit into the wall and it fired right up. works fine now. You might have to do this a couple of times but mine was fixed on the first try.

My model is the RT2500

Verify 120v at wall socket. Plug 2250 into mains, if not so already.

QUICKLY unplug and plug back in the unit. That should put the unit into DEMO mode, at which point you can press the (now red) power button and the unit should function nominally.

Sandworms, that is the exact problem I had after a power out. It doesn't look the same as ducast's problem though. I posted the same solution in another thread. Here's hoping it works for you too.

When the red LED on the power button would glow, but it wouldn't turn on. Try unplugging it and plugging it back in repeatedly and it will eventually turn on. If that doesn't work try moving it to another outlet then try plugging it back in and out.

hi sounds like a earthing problem in the reciver or problem in the speakers try rotaiting the speakers back to front front to back left to right ETC.. good luck
