Game will not stop spinning - Video Game Consoles & Games

Stopped spinning? Or just not playing thru the tv? Try holding down the power button till you here the second beep,this resets the video output,give it a few moments and maybe thats your answer

If the disk works fine, then it's not a problem, the playstation only needs to reed it when its spinning. Mine does this occasionally.

You need to replace your laser. Its fairly easy to do it yourself.

the disk driver starter is having some problem ..u try celaning thr lens and spinning it by yourself after removing the drivers top...u can also check with this site which as a repair guide

The laser has to detect a game before it will spin the disc so you probbably need a new laser lense.

Also, try unplugging any joysticks you may have connected.

i had this same problem, so i figured, "what the hell?" i might as well open the dvd drive up and clean it out. so i looked for how to video for taking apart my 360 and opening the dvd drive on you tube( this voids your warantee of course) and i cleaned all the dust out with compressed air and swabs dipped in alchohol. this worked for me so i hope it works for you.

try pushing the av cable from both ends to make sure that they are perfectly fixed.......
