SOURCE: squealing NOISE possibly from fan belt
There are several things you should know;
1. Power steering belt, when you make a turn, sometimes make noise, because your car needs power steering oil,=transmission oil.
2. when you turn on AC then you can hear a loud noise, you must check AC compasser,If the head wheel frozen, it will make a lot noise, that you have to fix your AC compasser.
3.check these two first, if both ok. shot some wd40 or lubricate see if it's work.
Hope this can help you

To start with, a vacuum belt is designed to be the weak link so that if the brushroll is stopped momentarily, the motor won't "burn up" or be permanently damaged.
If, on your Dyson, your drive belt is a cogged-tooth [or "Gilmore"] belt, I have seen instances of the brushroll becoming momentarily stopped, and the motor will then chew up a few teeth on the belt.
Running the vacuum anytime after this will/may produce a grinding noise.
If you examine your belt and see teeth missing, replace the belt (and they should be under $20 for sure) and that should repair such an issue.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. Your problem may be solved as simply as pushing the small red reset button exposed on top of the power head when you tilt the arm back. Very simple. Hope this helps.
