My keypad wont work except for on/off wotn work

I can receive incoming calls, i cant do anything b/c it wont respond to any key except the on/off ones. not even the side keys will work

May be your keypad might have worn out or your phonse's software might be under problem. try replacing the keypad in your phone and check it out. it it does not work still then remove the user serviceable parts like panels batteries and clean then using a clean damp cotton cloth.be sure the cloth is not much wet to affect the ic's of the phone.it this also does not work get a pro to attend your phone's software problem,

Try using a standard phone to call your Fax Line
Connect a phone to this Line to test for voice
Disconnect Fax Machine from Phone Line
Reset Fax machine
The Fax machine is supposed to respond to the right tones being sent down the voice line
If it is not responding & all else works then check your Fax settings for "Receiving"

My n79 stops working after a few seconds when i turn it on and some times it shuts off and restarts, and the keys wont work only the on/off. it will charge the battery and still except calls but i cant...

your keypad is in good condition? cause sometimes the keypad is still in press. if is not try format your phone but first back-up your files. when format press * key, call key and 3 key and power key. always update your phone to the latest firmware.

Keys are not responding

Hello, what makes a phones keypad not to respond is when the IC that controls the keypad inside the phone is bad, it makes the keypad to freeze.

Also if there is dirt in the keypad, it can also cause the phone keypad to freeze.

To rectify problem you will assistance from a phone technician.
