I need some remote help to fix my camera security system

On the remote may be a "panic" or "alarm" button, try pressing that. It will shut my beeping off when it occurs.

Security systems may beep when power is turned off to it unexpectantly.

Here is something you can try to see if it is transmitting out from the handset
Put your new battery in and push and hold down the button and look at the transmitter LED through a digital camera, a phone camera works fine. you don't need to take a picture, just look at the LED trough the camera.
If its transmitting you will see the LED light up.
Test this on your TV remote as you know this one is working so you know what to look out for.
If its not transmitting you know its the handset at fault, if it is transmitting its probably the recever.

You need to contact the company that installed it originally and have them remotely restore the factory code if not you have to default your system to the factory code.

Easy fix...because you are using VGA screen ...you need to push pretty fast on your remote the following ( do this twice) fast....push. Freeze. View. Return. That should fix it. If twice oes not fix it keep doing it...it will work. Good luck.

its possible u need to get into engneer mode theres a button on top press pull down flap enter 654321 and then add sensor remote button then press the two top buttons on the remote

i dont know if this will work or not but try changing the battery i the remote . we just got our system installed a we have two remotes they installer said they have watch size batteries. hope this helps.

Obtain the installation manual. You should be able to find this on Google. Search for Ge Simon 3 install manual. Follow te instructions for deleting sensors.
