try these:-

  • connect it to pc and on it
  • vaccum the barrel of lens
  • changing mem. card and batt. for 2min.
  • shake it.
  • on and off in different positions
  • hit the part near lens softly with palm (trust me this made mine work)

Lens Error: 0x04110000 This is the exact error that displays when I power up, then it shuts off.
try these:-
  • connect it to pc and on it
  • vaccum the barrel of lens

Lens error 0x04110000
It should still be under warranty. You are probably going to have to send it off to Pentax. A call to their tech support may give you the actual meaning of th error code, but more likely they will tell you it is broken.

Pentax optio e60 lens error 0x04110000
je viens de resoudre le probleme sur mon pentax E70L avec un simple aspirateur domestique,a l'aide du tuyau le plus fin, en realisant un nettoyage minutieux, tout autour de l'objectif, (sans rien demonter, evidemment!), ensuite le code lens error a changé, puis j'ai continuer a ouvrir et fermer l'appareil, a tenter de changer les options "scene", et l'appareil ne s'est pas refermer !...et j'ai pu refaire des photos!...soulagé!...l'appareil n'avait pas 2 mois!..mais rappelons nous qu'il n'aime pas le sable!
