My sciphone my sci phone wont read my sim card from att

if you have the 3g service it wont work with this phone, only regular att service will

i had that problem to. i called att and was told to go buy a new sims card at wallmart or a att dealer neer me. i also was refunded my 40.00 phone bill for that month. but had to come out of pocket for sims card a 25.00 cost. i came out 15.00 ahead thanks to att and thare great custemer suport!!

had a similar problem with ATT sim card and ti just would not work.. returned it to att and they inserted new one and it worked immeditely... try it..

You probably have the sim card in there backwards. Just got the same phone and that was why It was doing this.

Make sure that the SIM card (gold) is facing up

I see that this had been a while. The reason that your Sim cad doesn't work could be various: 1. Make sure that your phone is quad band, if it's a tri band then make sure that ATT works in 1900mhz. If it works only in 850 and your i68+ is a tri band, (which is not suppose to) then it will never work. As far as I know all i68+ original are quad band, some fakes i68+ are sold as quad band but are actually tri-band. 2. If you ATT sim card is a 3g card, it won't work either. These phones are not yet equip to work with 3g. I hope this clear up at least a little of your doubt with the Sciphone.

I have my boyfriends ATT sim card in the phone plus my T-mobile. Both work fine. Go under settings and Dual Sim Settings and make sure whatever slot you have the card in is turned on. If you have more than one sim card in it should be on Dual SIM Open. If not pick which slot it's in and turn it on :P If that's not it then sorry I dont know. Just a thought.

most of these new cell phones are looking for a new and updated sim card....call your carrier and tell the rep that your cell is not reading sim no more...the rep will tried to force the issue from their end / they will probally tell you take sim out and read the 16 little characters on it.....still not working....they will tell u that u need a new sim card (shhh) hopefully this is nice rep that will tell u that can get one for free....if u go to the store they tell to.... so be nice (all in all ive told family and friends this and everyone has had gotten free sim, for dash cect and blackberrys)

Hi how do i get my sciphone to accept my 3mobile sim card when i put it in with my tmobile sim it will only recognise tmobile my 3 mobile is a contract sim can that be the problem
