I took the battery and tried to recharge it, but it is already fully charged. Dont know what must be the problem. my camera is sony cyber shot 7.2 mp, and its battery is sony g type lithium ion. please help
Took some pics and camera worked fine. Suddenly it turned of so thought it was batteries. Put new one's in but when I tried to switch it back on the nothing happens. Well the lense wont go out and in playback mode when I press the switch the LCD screen barely lights up(for grey to black) The camera did not fall at all. What now?

after two days of periodic checking if it'll come one... it finally did! don't know how... but i took out the battery and recharged it for a while, inserted it and turned it on but it didn't work. i did it again about two times and still nothing. so i left the battery outside for like a day.. and when i tried it again, it worked! thank God! thank you for your time.
My camera worked fine last night while I was taking pictures, however, I couldn't get it to power up today so that I could upload my pictures. I spent half the day recharging batteries, buying new batteries, and searching the Internet for solutions.
It turns out that I just needed to switch the batteries around. The positive and negative battery chambers are mislabeled in my camera. Duh! Works fine now. Hope this helps someone.
Install new batteries.....really! They will just up and die when your camera's on and then there's nothing else you can do. If you have rechargeables....swap them out for any fresh batteries just to close your camera...then put your recharged rechargeables back in. Or put them back in and recharge on your camera dock.
I had the same problem. I had a 1 year warranty, so I called 1800-435-7732 and they sent me a new battery within 5 days. I just received it today and it works perfectly. Hope this helps you! =]
