SOURCE: yahoo radio problems

The problem may also be that you have too many temporary internet files stored. These are normal files that are stored when you visit a website so when you come back to that site, the pages load much faster. They leave some of the website's information on your computer so it doesn't have as much to download when you return.

Try (for VISTA users) going to START>Control Panel>System and Maintenance> and right under the "Administrative Tools" headline you'll find "Free Up Disk Space" click that and it'll ask you what drive you'd like to clean up, select the drive you want (usually drive "C") and click ok, when it finishes figuring out how much space it will free up, make sure all the check boxes are checked in the window that pops up, especially the one marked "Temporary Internet Files" and click ok. This may take some time if it's the first time you're doing this so just be patient and let it do it's thing. After it's complete, it will automatically close and you can try the Yahoo! Radio again.

If you are on XP (or VISTA), you should be able to find "Disk Cleanup" in START>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup. Then follow the same procedure as before, choose the disk (usually "C") then click ok, check all the boxes, then click ok.

Because Yahoo! Radio uses streaming media, it's trying to download the song at the same time it's playing and there's no room left in the temporary internet file folder so it has to play catch up the whole time, that's why it'll stutter.

If you go through all of that and you are still having a problem, let us know with a comment to this thread so we know what we've done so far and we'll try to help you out again. If it is your internet connection, you should have had this problem since you got the internet and it wouldn't be a new problem, but if it has been like this the whole time, you don't have enough bandwith to handle that much streaming and downloading at once. If that's the case, I'm sorry but the only thing you can do is upgrade your internet connection. First, try my suggestion.

Good luck and don't forget to rate! Thank you!

SOURCE: my cd player does not

There's a control under PLAY MODE that selects random play labeled "1 DISC SHUF". Normal play would be "ALBM". Read the manual.

CD player skipping and pausing at start up

CD player lens run on a ratchet teeth system that moves up and down. When you hear it clicking, it could be that the mechanism has either fouled, or has teeth missing, or is damaged. It might be possible to correct the problem, sometimes with superglue. But it needs looking at to determine the damage.

No sound during gameplay

When in game, does the music play at all? If so, press the quide button and stop the music under the appropriate tab that allows you to pause and skip songs. You may have made a playlist and it keeps playing it while in game. I'd go on my 360 and give exact instructions, but mine is shipped out to Microsoft courtesy of their inability to produce lasting machines. Keep playing with the media settings and try to get it to where the play, skip song, fast-forward sections on the music tab of the guide button are grayed out. Good luck!

P.S. If worst comes to worst, call Xbox tech support... 1-800-4MYXBOX. You'll have to talk to a robot for a bit to get your info straight, but it shouldn't be too busy.

Problem playing songs from phone external memory

most likely not enough momory left in the phone to stream the music. Try closing unneeded programs on the phone. If it is a smart phone such as one that has a window OS system on it programs in the background cause the memory to get used up making the songs skip and pause.

Wont play music

The songs are in the wrong format - they are probably DRM-encrypted WMA files that you are trying to transfer, and the license on those files are wrong; they are either "fixed-term" or lack "transfer rights"

To resolve, either upgrade your music svc subscription, or convert the songs to Mps format
