I had exactly the same problem with exactly the same model watch, and it happened to me twice. The AQ-160 is the important part of the model number as far as replacement parts are concerned. The first time, I took it to the shop where I bought the watch, and they replaced the band, but it cost me $50. The second time, I looked up the Web for the master agent for Casio in Australia, and they said I could buy the end piece, not the whole band, for $6. I found I could replace it quite easily myself by using a drawing pin to remove the spring pin that holds it together. A bit fiddly to reassemble but not too bad. In fact, I didn't wait for the new part to arrive, just used the unbroken end of the old band. So now I have a repaired band plus the old band and a new end piece, in case it ever happens again.

I really like this watch, but it is a pity the bands are so weak.

lclark1: could you please post a link for the master agent for Casio in Australia. I need a plastic end piece for my watch too.

Had same problem with the non-metal strap breaking on CASIO AQ-160. It's a fine watch but the design puts a lot of stress on the cheap strap and also on the tiny holes on the watch body where the strap attaches. I broke my watch by trying to squeeze the pins with my new strap replacement. So here's my solution: Go to Amazon.com (or elsewhere) and buy a whole new watch for under $30 U.S.D. By the way, the crystal scratches easily and I suppose that's what we get for a cool, but inexpensive watch. Good luck!

Where ca I buy A new stainless steel strap and pins for my tcm chronograph quartz 20 bar watch serial number 234245

As long as it's not a strap exclusive to your watch, you should be able to take it to any jeweler who sells watches or a watch selling kiosk in a mall. I wouldn't take it to a store like Wal-Mart, just because they have no requirements for their employee's to know a crown from a clasp, for them to work in the jewelry area.

Pin that holds metal band clasp is missing

If it is only the pin that holds the metal band, this is an extremely inexpensive part that is available at most stores that sell watches.
