Look for two key pad buttons with a line with a smiling child face padlock symbol. Press and hold these two buttons until you see or here a response from the washing machine.
On a 8 Kg model, press and hold + and - Change buttons on the right of the LCD screen simultaneously for several seconds? That's the way to toggle the child lock on and off for this IFB model,
https://www.amazon.in/IFB-Fully-Automatic-Senator-Aqua-SX/dp/B00LAXLN5C . On a 6Kg machine,
https://www.amazon.in/IFB-Fully-Automatic-Diva-Aqua-SX/dp/B071G3B81W/ref=psdc_1380369031_t3_B00LAXLN5C , the appropriate buttons to hold are the Rapid Wash and No Cold. (These are on the right side of the control panel but to the left of the power button.)
Depending on the machine, the time to hold the buttons may be 3 seconds, 5 second or 10 seconds. You should see and hear some response. However, holding the key pad buttons for too long may re-enable the child lock.
I hope this helps. The child lock on most washers remains active even when the power is removed from the machine. This keeps the program from being activated when you clean the control panel or by a child who shouldn't access the machine. If the problem persists, I suggest checking for a problem with the keypad wiring or contacts.
