Skip replacing the USB cable and consider getting an xD card reader instead. then simply remove xD memory cards from your camera, and place them in the card reader to transfer photos to your computer.

None of the keys work on hp logo screen F10, f11. f9. esc system won't boot from hard drive or cd

Hi,

are you using a usb keyboard? A lot of systems require a ps/2 (purple round connector) keyboard to access the bios settings and anything on the startup screen unless you have set usb on boot in the bios settings. I would try connecting a ps/2 keyboard and see if it helps.

The usb ports are not detecting keyboard, mouse or thumb drive. usb root hub and usb controller are working properly.

Go into the BIOS and to the "Security" Menu and then to a"Device Security". You will see that "All USB Ports" says "Hidden"; same for "SMBUS". Arrow down to them, hit the right arrow to make them available and press F10 to accept. Go back to the "File" menu and press F10 once again to accept changes. USB ports should not work.

On the left side of the camera, seen from the back. The socket is for the terminal adaptor. You connect the USB cable to the terminal adaptor.

Ga-6vxd7 keyboard wont work to boot from cd

Hi,
Plug the USB keyboard into another port (preferably one at the back) restart the PC and enter the BIOS again, this time go through the BIOS and set all the USB controllers to enabled, hit F10 save the changes and exit the bios. The computer will restart and you should now be able to use the USB keyboard to install the OS.
Please post back if you need anymore advice.

Good luck

Fuji Finepix F10 won't mount onto Mac mini OS X

Best use Memory Card Readers, F10 is USB 1.1 so moving data is quite slow specially if you take 6MP photos. Just get a XD card reader whihc is USB 2.0

Cant fined disc

This camera becomes a USB Drive when you connect it to the computer automatically when you turn it on so yes just connect and it will work, no software is required. If you have lost the PC cable then you could also get a XD Card reader which costs less then a £10 and just copy them off the card to your PC.

Reset navman F10 sat nav

Press and hold the on/off button for ten seconds will re-set the system on the satnav. If the screen freezes after loading the maps then connect the Satnav to a pc via a usb lead and download the latest Service update fom Navman.com. With the Satnav connected to the computer and the download compleated double-click the F10 set-up.Exe and it will update the system on the Satnav. Once complete disconnect the cable and restart the F10. That was the way I sorted mine out after recieving 'little' help from Tech Support from Navman.com. My problem seems to be in the Multi-drop ability of the F10 [program one location and try and add another to plan a route] but I have never got anyhelp from the tech's other than "Buy a Connectivity kit from us and you may be able to use that to fix the problem....". If you get a "Not enough memory to complete update... " message after double clicking the F10 set-up, you will need to go into your F10 Satnav memory and look up some of the saved files from previous routes you have stored in there. I deleated some of these to free memory and it didn't seem to affect the Satnav's programming and allowed the update to complete. My F10 started fine after that. If you need any more help, Navman.com tech support may be able to suggest something....., just don't hold your breath....
