I have sym jet 50 99 reg it just cut wont start

Checked plug and checked fuel battery ok brand new what can i do ????

Just bought my lad a 1999 sym jet 50 for his birthday it suddenly stopped and conked out now won't start .. there is a spark (new spark plug) and fuel getting through & have cleaned the

carb and drained the fuel through too when i have re-attached it . The battery is dead now but surely should still start on kick .? anything else i should know is there a kill switch .?..
any info would be great he's gutted cos he can't ride his birthday present ..

I have a sym jet 50 on a w reg and everytime i start it it runs for a few seconds an dies again an when i take out the plug its soaked in petrol it started runin abit slugish cold an gradually got worse an now onli runs for a few seconds?

Is there a spark at the plug? if so its likely to be fuel related... is the plug getting wet? if so its likely to be air (or spark) related

Did you put oil in the engine before it was started. If you purchased it brand new take it back from where you bought it. Could be such a thing as a dirty fuel bowl or fuel jet.

change the battery. It takes alot more power to turn an engine over than to hond a horn. Your carburetor and gas tank likely need to be cleaned out also if they were not drained before storage

Drain and clean the carb. A new plug is always a good thing. Check for spark. Check kill switch on side stand and handlebars if no spark.

if you put to much fuel in the pot you might have flooded it....did you take off the fuel line to make sure you have fuel comming out?if it is not fuel injected.than try changing the jetting in it.does the plug have wet oil on it when you take it out or what color is it?
