Bluetooth enable

Bluetooth technology allows enabled devices to share information and data without having to rely on a wired connection.

To pair other Bluetooth devices with your HP Pavilion, you must first make the computer discoverable by turning on the Bluetooth antenna.

HP includes the wireless assistant to help you manage the various wireless features of your computer.

Click "Start" and type "wireless assistant" into the search box.
Click the "HP Wireless Assistant" entry in the list of results.

Locate the "Bluetooth" entry. Click the "Turn On" button in the "Bluetooth" category to enable the Bluetooth antenna in your HP Pavilion.

My hp wireless assistant is not working

Go to HP folder where the installation was made, and try to start the assistant from there.

Anyways you don't need the asistant to see the status of your wireless connection.
To check it out just

Go to Start >> Control panel >> wireless connections >> and check your status there.
