My check engine light now comes on and my oil pressure gage is not working-I am guessing it is a sensor.
Any thoughts and how much should this cost? I took it in to the local dealer and the costs seems high.
Does anyone know how to change from radio to cd stacker on a Philips ministero p.t.

The problem usually is with the is the oil pressure sending unit which is located behind the oil filter.
They can go bad and send erratic signals to the oil pressure gage and will cause the a light to signal for gage malfunction.
It costs about $60 9parts only)and requires a large socket to remove. be cafeful when you remove the wires to the sendng unit it is a small plastic tab that breaks easily
Drive the darn thing i have an 05 gc and the idiot light is always on and off nothing wrong but the poor gas and these cars are formatted for a higher emissions standard (than what our lovely gas today has to offer) they are fine unless running poorly.. try to put a higher octane and gas treatment don't pay the big bucks to the dealer ours pulls cat codes oxygen sensor codes it can never make up its mind.. but we are jeep junkies and we'll deal with it..

2007 Jeep GC -The check engine light comes on frequently, in the shop more than 10 times and not fixed yet. The cat. converter has been replaced twice along with oxygen sensors and now the gaskets were replaced, still not corrected Also my "service tire pressure system" light comes on daily for the rear left tire only. I have had my tires rotated and the same malfunction still occurs. The sensor has been replaced twice, dealership has not been able to rectify this issue in 10 visits also.
I have the same problem with the oil light. 30,000 miles and the oil light is coming on.
