My guess is that the K110D is not compatible with SDHC cards.

The K110D works with SD cards, 2GB or smaller. It will not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

No, you cannot use SDHC cards with the 450. You can only use MMC and SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

NEW 4GB SANDISK SDHC WONT WORK IN CAMERA,I HAVE TRIED TO FORMAT BUT STILL SAYS MEMORY CARD FAULT,ANY IDEAS,THANKS JOHN.

Hi, Please check designated card for your camera in owner manual. If it is OK, then try another good memory card ( with same type) and have your camera re-try. If nothing change, problem is in your camera . It could be memory card ports/terminals, or its interface with PCB.

Jay

I have a pentax Optio E10 camera and put a 4gb sdhc memory card in but it doesnt respond when I switch it on - does this mean it is not compatible or is there a way of sorting the problem

The manual specifies SD cards up to 1GB. Cards bigger than 2GB are actually SDHC (SD High Capacity) cards and will not work in SD devices. 2GB cards may work; try at your risk.

What Memory Cards will work?

Hi,,

Unfortunately, the Pentax K100D is not SDHC compatible, which means that the camera can be equipped with a maximum memory capacity of 2GB.

It is also advisable to choose a fast version of the Secure Digital memory card, such as Ultra II or Extreme III by SanDisk. I would recommend using a memory card of at least 512MB, or even 1GB if you can.

Hope this info helps

Pentax Optio MX4 won't read my new SDHC 4gb

Does the camera work with any other card? Was the card formatted in the camera? Some cards from some manufacturers just don't work in some cameras.

Sdhc memorty card in a pentax optio e10 camera

The E10 works with SD cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work. You need to use SD cards 2GB and smaller.

4gb Memory card error

In order to use 4gb memory your camera has to be approve for SDHC use.

If it isn't the most memory you can put into your camera is 2 gb
