GE JEM25GY Spacemaker died. No lights and won't turn on. Power from recepticle is OK. Shall I just buy a new one. Probably had this one for at 15 years. Thanks

Most of the time it is the failure of one of the three door interlock switches. It also takes the fuse out when they fail. Not an expensive repair. I would say $15 plus labor.

GE spacesaver xl just died. No fan, no lights, no power. Where should I go to repair? I live in Las Vegas

Might want to check the 20A fuse by the power supply before you haul it somewhere and they charge you a service charge for a cheap fuse...

Sharp microwave

If it died as soon as you hit the Start pad, it probably has a shorted high-voltage capacitor. If it died a few seconds after you hit Start, it may be a shorted high-voltage transformer. Can you describe in more detail what happened? Have you checked the outlet for power? Have you checked the fuse inside? I'm happy to help you.

Maytag Over the Range Microwave

Assuming the entire power line from the breaker to the microwave cord is okay, it's almost certainly a bad connection on the circuit board of the control panel assembly. For reference, we repair these from all over the country for $32.50 postpaid.
