If the battery is depleted it will turn off. It may be expended. Rechargeable batteries cannot be recharged forever.

Reboot simply means to turn it off and start it up again...you do this by shutting it down and starting it back up later, or choosing restart from the shut down menu.

Your display setting does not match.You need to setting the display right way.Or you uninstall and install the VGA (graphics)driver again,and simply restart the PC.

It might be problem of bluetooth so you must try to check it.

I don't think it's hurting anything to use the power hold off solution... but try this:
Turn off any blue tooth on your machine.... I was having alot of similar trouble with my black macobook dual core... and found via the mac forums that shutting the blue tooth off does help.
It happens mostly when running on battery... If the power adapter is running, I don't have sleep wake restart etc issues....
but on batt power it does act up now and then.
Try to the bluetooth off and see what happens.

this is due to driver misssing you have to reinstall driver properly
steps for doing so.

1. shut down your system
2. turn on your system.
3. switch on the button of blue tooth device
4. now install the driver from the cd provided to you by acer.

restart you system.
this will solve your problem.

this problem generally occurs with blue tooth devices.
before reinstalling device driver

1. shut down your system properly
2. turn on your system.
3. turn on the switch of bluetooth
4. now try to reinstall the driver
5. after installing driver restart your system.

This generally happens when you've got a problem with your Windows installation. I'll spare you the technical details, but the fix is pretty easy.

Put your Windows disk in the CD Rom, and reboot your computer.

When it restarts, and goes into the Windows installation, choose the "Repair" option, and follow the onscreen steps.

This fixes the issue 99% of the time.

Did you upgrade or totally reload the os from scratch? Usually improper shut down sequences are caused by corrupted os.
