Try reinstalling your webcam drivers that came with it. If you do not have them, you can try to download them from the LG website or use a driver finder program.
try reinstalling the driver for the cam. Go to my computer right click it, select properties, left click the following hardware, dev mgr, then right click the device and select reinstall driver see if that fixes it.
Hi please try to reinstall the software for your webcam.. note...first uninstall the software then reboot system then install the software then reboot again then connect the cam on your laptop... Please rate.. have a nice day...

Today my LG E500's Smart cam also stopped working after my battery was down too much. Didn't know what to do. And I didn't know about this Fn+F10 combination for the webcam.
My webcam works now after activating it by Fn+F10. However, I don't know what made it stop functioning.
