First, update your hardware drivers via built in applications or the Toshiba website. Try the Windows Troubleshooter for Networking... it works much better than before. If you're out of warranty, your only option may be to purchase a USB wireless LAN adapter. Buy one from Amazon so you can return it if the problem isn't fixed.

SOURCE: my Toshiba SP6000 cannot enable

Hi Alirahmani26,

From what I've gathered here, you're trying to use a wireless card on your laptop to connect to the Internet through your desktop computer. Are you using a wireless router somewhere in there? Or are you wanting to connect to the Internet FROM your laptop THROUGH your desktop computer? If the latter, are you planning to connect the laptop with a Cat-5 cable or with the wireless connection?

SOURCE: can i connect toshiba satellite a205 to tv?

Yes VGA carries RGBHV--RGB and Horizontal and Vertical Sync information along with DDC info where available.

Now is that port on your TV a d-sub 15 pin standard VGA connector?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VGA_connector

If it is, then yeah you should be able to output VGA from a PC to the TV with a proper cable.

However if the TV has DVI or HDMI connections on it, it's better for you to connect it that way. DVI/HDMI is a digital signal and if it's a digital-based display tech TV, then you're better off using that. Also if the TV does resolution above 1360x768 (i.e. if it does 1080p) you can get higher resolution by going via DVI/HDMI...

SOURCE: My Toshiba Satellite's wireless won't work. It

Try the properties of your Network controller. And go to your Internet Protocol Version 4 and 6 properties. Sometimes you have to change from Auto Obtain to manual and back again to get the IP addresses to correct themselves. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: my toshiba satellite laptop won't connect

As a general test, see if you can ping the "router's configuration URL IP address". To do that go to a command prompt(DOS Prompt) and type in ping and the routers IP. If you get replies you are OK conencting as far as the router. Next try PINGing to www.yahoo.com or www.google.com. If you get replies you are OK conencting as far as the Internet. If not try sending a ping to their IP(the numbered) address. If you get replies you are OK conencting as far as the Internet, but you have a DNS issue. Big Pond can help you with that.

Toshiba A105-S2712 Won't Recognize The Wireless Connection

Have you installed the driver for the router that you are using or using the inbuilt windows program to search for your wireless network?

If windows, are you searching all channels or is it set to only find unsecure networks whilst i assume yours is secure?

Wireless networks not found

Sometimes Satellites get a little flaky when on battery power. If you haven't already, plug in the power cord with the notebook cold - meaning off for about a minute. Boot the notebook and try to do the setup with the power connected. If that solves it, it should work fine when you switch to battery power. If it doesn't, repost with your results.

Need ESSID and WEP info for a Toshiba Satellite A205

The users guide for your laptop won't have information about ESSID or WEP for any wireless networks you are trying to connect to. SSID is Site Security Identification. That is the name of the wireless network you are connecting to and WEP is Wired Equivalent Privacy and is a key that is set up on the wireless network that if you don't know that key you can't use that wireless network even if you know the SSID. Each wireless network will have its own ESSID and WEP settings. If you control (I.E. you have the username and password for that router) the wireless router that you are settings up you control what the ESSID and WEP settings are. If you purchased the wireless router that you are trying to connect to, you might need a users guide for that router or if the company you get your Internet from owns your wireless router, you need to contact them concerning the setup of that wireless router.

Hope that helps.

Laptop connect to public wireless network, but not internet

Sometimes they set the wireless to be unsecured. But you have to pay to use them.
Please check with the hotel staff about setting it to use.
If its completely free, double click the network icon on the task bar, click support tab and click repair.
