Ipod was conected so i disconected it now its froze.

You may need to do a full restore on you iPod. Something may be corrupt.

Try resetting it, if that doesnt work, restore to factory settings.

To factory reset on my ipod classic...  slide the hold switch to hold  then slide it back  then press the center and menu button for up to 60 seconds.

Here is the resolution:

1. Toggle the hold switch on the iPod right and left.

2. Then press and hold down the Menu and Center button together for 8-10 seconds until you get Apple Logo on the iPod.

Try holding the Play/Pause button down for a few seconds. Like maybe 5 or so, thats how my 3rd gen turns off.

You need to reset your ipod. Flip the hold switch on then off, then press select button and menu button at same time. Hold for 10 seconds or so. Ipod should shut off and reboot to apple screen. If this doesn't work first time try again. This should solve any stuck screen problems. Mine was stuck on pioneer screen and this operation fixed it.
