A few days ago attempting to turn on the TV, got the blinking Standby light no picture. Turning on and off a fewtimes Sound and Picture came on. Yesterday, took me 4-5 times to acheive the same result. This morning after numerous cycling on and off would get sound for a few seconds with a blinking Standby light and no picture. After a few seconds each time sound goes off and Standby light blinks. Any idea?
Hi, this is a very common failure, you need to replace 2 IC chips on your power supply board, marked on the top of the IC`s is this number: MCZ3001D you can purchase them here if you are very proficient at soldering & un-soldering, and the board has to come out of the tv to do this, you might want to call a tv man for this one, but it will fix your set, happy holidays, BMW Rider
