Your watch has a clip-on back. Open it and change the battery.

WHERE DO I GO TO REPLACE A CRYSTAL FACE ON A SKAGEN WATCH

Hello,

If the watch is under warranty it would cost you $32.00 to have it fixed.
you can follow this link for more information: http://www.skagen.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ContentView?storeId=37082&page=customerCare_warrantyRepairs&nav=leftNav_CustomerCare&langId=-1&catalogId=26505

The other option is to go to a professional watch repair person to replace or buff out the crystal if it's just scratched. The fees are around $25 - $50 since that watch has a mineral crystal. I hope this helps!

I have a Police Phalanx watch, black and rose gold effect. The glass has a couple of scratches and one of the rose gold markers has come away at the 10 o'clock position. Would it be expensive to repair...

If the crystal of your watch is made of plastic, it may be possible to buff (or pay a jeweler to buff) it. Buffing a crystal is very inexpensive--sometimes free--and may eliminate the scratch, or, at the very least, greatly reduce its prominence. However, glass crystals cannot be polished in this way; the only way to fix chips or scratches is to replace the crystal, which can run anywhere from $15-50+, depending on the type of crystal and amount of work required to replace it and test for proper water resistance. Replacing the mineral glass crystals on some diving watches can be very expensive.
Markers on a watch dial are ordinarily stuck on with little pins and/or a dab of adhesive. If the detached marker is still in the watch, this is ordinarily a fairly simple repair. The watch would be opened and the movement removed. Next, the jeweler would carefully place the marker back into position, probably adding a tiny drop of glue to keep it in place. A job like this can cost as little as $25, if it requires no replacement parts and you take your watch to a place that does a lot of watch repairs, as opposed to a general jewelry store that has to outsource the repair to a wholesale workshop.

I am a retail jeweler. We broke a cust.'s crystal when changing a battery. Need help in getting new crystal. Lds. 14kt,rect. milor,Italy. Please help

This is hard one. First advise is to contact manufacturer. If no success there, then you have to find out any watch repair shop with watch glass cutting services. I used to order obsolete watch glasses to cut over here in England, so, should be similar service in USA. Last and most expensive thing is to buy KRONOGLASS cutting machine, but you will be able to cut watch glasses in the future and provide this service yourself. Not much, but at least you have an idea where to look for. Rate me, plz.

How to replace battery in men's geneve 14k gold watch must remove crystal is it tricky?

It is not usual to remove the crystal of a watch the replace the battery. All other watches I have come across need the back to be removed.

I suggest you take your watch to your nearest watch shop and ask them to do it for you.

You can get into difficulty replacing batteries and it is not worth the risk for the small cost saving.

What can you tell me about a man's 14kt gold bulova watch with serial number 8317027?

Serial number does not tell anything at all, just the count of watches that have been produced. I need Model name, all the writings on case back and description of watch itself to the smallest detail.

What type of battery do I need for a Rado watch (111.0322.3) - thank you.

Examine the markings on the battery. It is likely to be a 1.5-volt Silver Oxide or Alkaline battery. It doesn't matter which one you use, although the Silver Oxide battery can handle heavier energy-consuming loads, such as a multifunctional chronograph. It can be purchased from amazon, here: watch battery 1 5V silver oxide 357 SR44 SR44SW 10 pack. I hope this was helpful. Cheers

Can't open Geneve OGW154 gold wrist watch to replace the battery

You are right, this type of watch can be opened by lifting crystal and extruding the stem. As for lifting the crystal you need a specialized tool, there is no other way then to go and find your nearest watchmakers shop. If you will try to lift the crystal using knife or any other unspecified tool, you will damage the crystal. Even if you will be lucky enough to get it out without any damage, you will not be able to fit it back, because the watch crystal setting tool reduces the crystal diameter for easy fitting.
Best solution for you is to see the watchmaker and ask for help.
Do not forget to rate, please.
