I have a samsung 740N, and the f301 is brocken. There are three cap 820mf/25v capXon bad too. I have two questions: 1. I need change the fuse, but I don't know if it will broken. 2. I need change the caps for 1000mF/25v ? Thanks for you help P.S: I don't speak English, I speak portuguese

use the correct caps

uf is for micro farad.
we have the same problem.
my 820uf/25v in my monitor need to replace but i didn't know where to buy this capacitor, so i try to replace it 1000uf/25v
and the result is OK. my monitor is working again. as good as brand new.
you can replace 820uf/25v by 1000uf/25v because they have a 20%tolerance...

this problem is releted with monitors SMPS (power supply board)
pls find that a capicitor 470/10v or 820/10v is dameged in secondry
side of sm transformer whitch filter +5v and +14 v is rusted or plucked?
then change it or replace the power supply board.

Look VGA cable , or capacitors on power supply in monitor ( 820mF/25V ) , or 3,3V and 1,8 V smd power converters

If you know a little about electronics? You can open the unit up, find the power supply. Look at the tops of the caps. Are they bulgging on the top? If they are, they are bad. Sometimes there might be 4 to 6 caps that are bad. If the caps you are replacing are 16v replace them with 25v if 25v go to 35v, Always keep the same mfd rating. Some caps are under rated in these ;units. Make sure you don't get them in backwards, I found bad caps in my samsung 740, but this may or may not be the case with yours. Hope this is helpful.

TRY IT BY RESTARTING OR GO TO SERVICE PROVIDER

There are two reasons why capacitor blow up is higher voltage than it can take or higher temperature than the mark on the capacitor.When I repair psu I always change ALL capacitors,primary and secondary section.Bad capacitor in primary section is usually reason for overvoltage in secondary.Fuse is in power line of 820mF.As I remember they are paralel connected so follow +line back to the diode.There is a small green component looks like resistor betwen diode and capacitors.
Same thing is with other two monitors princip is the same.

You have problem with the psu.Three capacitors 820mF/25V are dead and there is a fuse 3A worn out

You need to replace 6 capacitors on the power supply board. Princeton uses CapXon brand capacitors which last about 1 to 2 years before going bad. CapXon are extremely poor quality capacitors, saving Princeton 10 to 20 cents per monitor.
This is the list of capacitors you need to replace. If they aren't bad now, they will be.
qty 2: 1000uF, 10V (DigiKey 565-1646-ND)
qty 3: 470uF, 25V (DigiKey 565-1677-ND)
qty 1: 470uF, 10V (DigiKey 565-1643-ND)

You can get United Chemi-Con replacements at DigiKey. The DigiKey stock number is listed on the above list. Since DigiKey didn't have stock on the 470uF, 10V at the time I ordered, I substituted a 680uF, 10V (DigiKey 565-1644-ND) which is a larger diameter, but will fit in the area provided.
