Hey Guys, I have two T5620 Talkabouts one will not brodcast. Is there anything I can do or anywhere to sends them to have them repaired? A.

In this type of radio equipments they use PCBs which carry frequency in case the frequencies gets back to factory or changes due to corruption of that PCB then it is required to be reset again with the help of a pc and that can be done by manufacturer only as the frequencies are not known to the users.

Sorry, the T5620 is a disposable/ non-repairable radio. You might try checking to see if your battery pack has failed. Switch a known good battery into the radio and see if it solves the problem. Also, clean your battery contacts on the charger/radio and battery with a pencil eraser to insure you are getting a good charge.

Hey

It takes them anywhere from 2-4 weeks to repair it, then you have to take the 3-5 business days for the shipping. Im not entirely sure what the problem could be though.

Comment by mdwrig2, posted on Feb 16, 2008 Hey guys, I found the fix for this. Simply doing a Master Reset in the phone options resolved my problem. Be aware, that it may delete any files you have saved on the phone. (ie:pictures ringtones etc... It will NOT delete anything on your Sim card or removable memory card) if the above does not work and it should then you have a firmware issue on the phone so you should get the phone reflash and hopefully for you guys that corrects the restarting issue any thing else would be a new phone.

check if that radio has the QT feature eneable, be sure that you are not making any feedback when you press the ptt. If one of the radios could have a problem be sure if the Buzz is transmited or received for the radios
