Here's a solution from an old posting of the same problem in a different Kenmore washer:

F32 is the code for a Water Level Switch Failure.
1. Remove the top panel from the washer by removing thethree screws in the top back of the washer.
2.Inside the back rightcorner is a round plastic box, fastened to the side with a plasticsnap. In will have a wire connector and a small, rubber hose connectedto it.
3. Check to make sure all the connector wires areconnected and tight. Unplug washer for 30 seconds to reset it. If the cycle failsstill with the F32 code, you'll need to replace the Water Level Switch.
4. Ifthe Water Level Switch does not eliminate the F32 code, it then the machine controller may have failed.

F32 codewhirlpool duet ht frontload washer F 32 code Whirlpool ht frontload washer displays f 32 code

F32 is a pressure switch failure. It controls the water level in the washer. The switch is a round plastic part mounted on the right panel towards the back right corner. Remove the switch by disconnecting the wire harness and the rubber tube connected to it and gently rotate it 90 degrees CCW and you should be able to pull it out easily. Some suggest that blowing on the tube will clean out anything that could be clogging it as a quick fix. If you suspect the switch you test it by checking two things; Blow on the inlet that was connected to the rubber tube you should hear a couple of clicks. The second test is to check if the switch works electrically. If the switch is bad you will need to replace it.

I have an Kenmore Elite HE5t, that is giving me an F-20, note after starting any cycle. I can not locate the owners manual. What should I do next?

The F20 code indicates that the control board is not detecting water entering the machine. If this is happening in the middle of the cycle even though the washer initially fills properly, then you could have a siphon problem through your drain hose. Make sure that the drain hose is properly installed. Check to see if the end of the hose is stuck way down the stand pipe. If it is, then the hose will need to be pulled out. Only about 6" to 8" should protrude down the stand pipe.

Check your fill hoses. Make sure that they are not kinked or clogged. If you are using FloodSafe supply hoses as shown in the image below, this could be causing your problem. This type of fill hose will not work on your washer.

Check the water pressure coming from your fill hoses.

My Whirlpool Duet has just come up with F32 error on display. Any ideas please?

I checked my code book and there is no f32. you should have a code tech sheet. this would be located on the bottom panel insid the washer. Check to see if they have a f 32 code.

There is an error code comming up it is f32

The F32 error code is a pressure switch failure error code, this error could be caused by several different reasons.

More than likely the pressure switch has malfunctioned. Be sure you are using H.E.(high efficiency)detergent. Select STOP twice to cancel the cycle. Select DRAIN & SPIN if there is excessive water in the washer. Re-select cycle and press START. If the problem remains you will need to call for service. This type of repair will require accessing the inside of the cabinet area to make some checks. This will require a service technician to diagnose & repair.
