Processor socket specs for acer aspire 8730-6095 want to know if i can swap out the stock intel core 2 duo t6400 processor for a intel core 2 duo t8600but i cant find the socket specs for the bigbear motherboard in my acer

i found the product guide for DH67VR i'm not sure if that covers the last 2 characters in the model, however they say this under processor:


Intel Core i7, Intel Core i5, Intel Core i3, and
Intel Pentium processors in an LGA1155 socket:

So I don't think that motherboard will work with that processor, unless the -B3 version of this model has a different socket some intel core 2 duo processors have these socket types: PLGA775, PBGA479, PPGA478, So I would need more information about your processor also. but none of the intel core 2 duo processors seem to fit that motherboard socket.

2. Intel Celeron D

Dual Core chip with speeds from 1.6Ghz to 2.7Ghz

3. Intel Pentium 4

Single core chip with speeds from 1.3Ghz to 3.8Ghz

The Core 2 Duo 3.3 Ghz is the most expensive and Pentium 4 1.3 Ghz the cheapest.
