How can I watch Netflix on a tv Sony wega that isn’t hooked to the internet. It’s wirelessly connected to Vizio ( smart tv Netflix built in) but I want to be able to watch in a different room

netflix is a 100% internet web site , streaming site.
thus the net in flix.
what did you mean by hooked?\
do you have internet at home at all?
do other things in home work to the internet, like PC or cell phones.
what I can not under stand is (different room) this phase
implies some rooms do work (netflex)
and wifi gets weak if my move any TV farther from the home router
and will fail past 25 feet or more. wifi is super weak through walls
for sure brick, or 2 walls.
if home is small one wifi access point is all you need
if huge home more.
distance matter, TV to router.
no TV model # told. (tells me wifi spec)

if you said my TV works in room 1 but not room 2, wifi;.
it be super more easy to answer.. is this true?
if true , get a tech to upgrade your wifi.
or go wired, Ethernet.(a better home upgrade)

Wifi not working

Your laptop may have wifi switch (this might be beside usb ports or somewhere). Make sure it isn't set to off.

Where is the button to activate wireless connection located?

there probably isn't one! You usually have to open the wireless utility and enable wifi from there. If you don't have a wifi utility...then it is usually bundled in with the driver for the wifi card.

Wifi is on, but the laptop says it isn't and won't show connect points available. What's up with that?

1. Make sure it is not disabled in device manager.
2. Make sure the WIFI switch is toggled to on
3. Hold down FN + F8 key to toggle wireless on/off

Let me know if any of the above works.

IPhone Wi-Fi only works when it's really close to my home's router...

Home routers don't broadcast the wifi that far. Most places that have super strong signals also have what they call a wireless extender. That's an extra piece that broadcasts the signal even further.

That's the main problem though. Home wifi isn't that strong.

My Wi-Fi isn't working isn't working, no matter what I try or do it is not getting any access points, what could be the problem?

Boot to F8 then select Last known good configuration. If no fix then boot back to F8 then safe mode then system restore from the time everything was working fine.

If all no fix do the following:

Check if your laptop can see other network aside from your home network.
If your laptop cannot see any network check if the wifi or wireless switch is turned on.
If the wifi or wireless switch is on then uninstall / reinstall the wlan or wifi driver.
