what I can not under stand is (different room) this phase

and wifi gets weak if my move any TV farther from the home router
and will fail past 25 feet or more. wifi is super weak through walls

there probably isn't one! You usually have to open the wireless utility and enable wifi from there. If you don't have a wifi utility...then it is usually bundled in with the driver for the wifi card.
Home routers don't broadcast the wifi that far. Most places that have super strong signals also have what they call a wireless extender. That's an extra piece that broadcasts the signal even further.
That's the main problem though. Home wifi isn't that strong.
Boot to F8 then select Last known good configuration. If no fix then boot back to F8 then safe mode then system restore from the time everything was working fine.
If all no fix do the following:
Check if your laptop can see other network aside from your home network. If your laptop cannot see any network check if the wifi or wireless switch is turned on. If the wifi or wireless switch is on then uninstall / reinstall the wlan or wifi driver.
