Shut down with no reason

Shutdowns can be caused by many things. If you have your pc setup for automatic updates, some updates require a reboot and will do that automatically. Normally you can prevent that from happening by changing the settings from automatically updating to notify me first before updating.

The shutdown can also be caused by the cpu overheating. Your computer will automatically shut down to protect itself.

Shutdowns can also be created by a infected computer. Malware can cause this.

With out further details, such as what you were doing at the time of the shutdown it's difficult to say why your system is shutting down.

I can say that normally if its a update your system will shut down and reboot, not always, but usually.

Hi! I think it is the time to remove the cover and check for air filters blocked with dust.

When this happens, air doesn't flow freely through the projector and result in overheating, which leads to automatic shutdown.

What is the exact problem.

A Does it turn off automatically after few minutes Or

B It fails to shut down when you choose to do so ??

If the system turn off automatically, try to clean the cooling vents and make sure that the system is not overheating

If the system fails to shutdown, test the system in safe mode. Restart and tap F8 repeatedly, select safe mode and press Enter. Once it start in safe mode, try to shutdown. If it able to shut down properly then the problem can be with your antivirus software

I suspect your computer is overheating and thats why it shuts down. Remove the fan from the processor and hoover out the heat sink and clean the blades of the fan too. make sure that any case fans you have are cleaned and working too.

->See if the Fan of the machine is Running(Feel if the air vent of the machine)

common reason why system shutdown automatically is if the motherboard is overheating where the system fan is not running. double check first the status of the computer if you are still able to hear any spinning sound or some air coming out from it. if those scenario is not applicable what are the other symptoms of the auto shutdown other than listening to music?

Automatic shutdown is always cause of overheating, busted heatsink/ fan/motherboard. if the fan and heatsink wasnt replaced yet though they check it fine i would still recommend replacing it. if the problem persists a mainboard replacement would be the last part needs to be replaced.
