I have had installed a CDA electric double oven. Its been in approximately 3 years but my main oven looks like the thermostqt has gone. The on/off lightdoes not go off. The Model No. is CDA 708 I can't find the Serial No. Can it be renewed I live in Nottingham.

You can look on eBay to buy a used cooker and use it or spare parts
or if its better replace your own.

Sounds like oven element is faulty, disconnect it and try again, if it does not trip, then it is definately the element..
It is easy to replace.

If the fan is working o/k, then you need replace the oven element.
To access this, remove inner rear cover of oven, there you will see the circular element.
Unscrew the screws securing it ,and remove element.
Detach wires and transfer to new element, be careful not to lose the wires behind the oven rear, refit element and rear cover.
