SOURCE: How do you remove the electric clutch from a

Remove the primary belt and mowing deck to give yourself some room to work.
Locate the wires from the clutch and follow them toward the frame until you find the plug and unplug it.
Remove the bolt and washer from the center of the clutch going up into the engine crankshaft and slide it off the shaft. It is quite heavy so be careful when it comes free.

Hi, check or replace the switch on the seat, basically its not telling the safety system that you are on the seat. Regards Phil.

2007 Husqvarna Riding mower blade will not engage when switch pulled out. Fuse blows & mower dies! Help!

Sounds like you electric blade clutch is bad. I just had the same thing happen to my exmark mower. I was cutting grass and the engine just shut down. It would not crank over. Checked the fuses and replaced one blown fuse. The engine wanted to crank over but it was locked up. I looked the engine over and seen that the bearing in the electric clutch seized up causing the clutch to melt.

I have a new husqvarna 20hp, 48"cut,automatic,powered by Koler. engine dies everytime I try to rerlease the clutch.

Check the seat switch. It (the mower) is designed to shutdown if the clutch is released without the operator being on the machine. It may need to be adjusted.

Engine dies when clutch brake released on husqvarna gth2548

First check the seat switch, make sure it is plugged in tightly, these plugs have a safety tab built into them that will cut the engine off if you unhook it,sometimes the plug latch pulls out slightly and this will cut the engine, There are two other switches in the system one on the foot clutch and on on the mower clutch, if you follow the white wire from you ignition switch it will lead you to both of them, check those connections also.
