Use the AUX jack, the old cigarette lighter jack to get a 12V feed. It will work fine as long as you are not using a linear amplifier with the radio.

Terrible problem. I know what your going though. Route your AM/FM Antenna wire, and Speaker wires separate from the CD Antenna cable and power supply wires. If you can, twist the speaker wires. If the Speaker wires are run along side the CB Antenna wire for a short distance, you will pickup feedback. If you much have the Antenna wire get near the speaker wires, have the antenna wire cross the speaker wire at a 90 degree angle. Try not to run the antenna wire in paralell with the speaker wires. yes they are they take the miniture bulbs to replace them you must remove the four screws holding them on from the back side 5/16ths to get them off then slide out and allow to drop down follow wires and twist sockets out to remoce aocket and replace bulbs, ther are 4 bulbs in the dash console for ac and heat.
