  • First you have to purchase a separately sold junction box and a portable telephone that is available from Nokia to control the incoming and outgoing call of the portable phone.
  • You must have a portable phone hooked up prior to the next step.

My Apline CDA-9831 has no sound when trying to play regular store bought CD's. It dose have sound on Tuner.

Are you using an amplifier? If so, make sure you are using the blue/white wire (amplifier remote turn on) instead of the blue (power antenna remote turn on) to turn your amplifier on. The blue wire turns off when leaving tuner mode.

I'VE CHECKED THE WIRES AND IT KEEPS TURNING OFF AND ON AND OFF AND ON AND OFF AND ON ALL THE TIME

The button on the remote is jammed or is shorted. If you can take the remote out of range and use teh stereo without this problem occurring you need a new remote which you should be able to order. If the problem persist it is the power button or circuit on the radio itself.
