Just a wild guess, since I'm not familiar with the product: The pump motor may be overheating and is being saved by a thermal cutout. Check the ventilation around the motor and make sure vents are not blocked. If the motor is loaded with dust, clean it off. Check the pump inlet screen to make sure it isn't clogged; this would make the pump work much harder. Finally, if you have access to the shaft between the pump and motor, remove power from the motor and try turning the shaft by hand. Excessive friction or side play in the shaft indicates bearing problems.

3 hp hot tub motor Sta-Rite tub has two speed low for filtering and high for jets low starts and then stops high speed works fine

make sure you make a wiring diagram or just unplug the plug from the mother board and search your area for your local pool pump repair guy with free testing. these are a high $$$ motor and not a good one to practice on, save it for a pro ! it might just be a dirty switch or need to be reset I don't charge any thing for that, and while your there ask him how to take better care of your $$$ pump ?

I have a 2 speed spa motor (K48m2a4) that stopped working at low speed. going to high speed only has circulating power.

Either the low speed circuit is defective or a relay is inoperative. If you feel confident , you could switch the low and high speed leads on terminal plate. The high speed jet button would activate low speed on pump if motor is good.

My yamaha blaster will start and idle once i press throttle in it dies and sounds weird like its missfiring or something

Your mid and or hi speed jets are plugged. Drain the fuel (tank and carb). Dissmantle the carb, remove the jets and clean them. (Or soak the in carb cleaner over night).

Fuel turns to varnish in just a few months.

good luck
