Is this a new juicer, have you used this before without the circuit failure? Most circuits in the house will be are 15 amp breakers. If the appliance has a high amp load then this can cause it to switch the breaker turning on or off.(due to to voltage spikes) I have a waffle iron that does the same thing if my refrigerator cycles while the iron is on. There are a few things that could cause this. But before anything else I would try the juicer in a different plug that is on a different circuit, like the living room for example. If that works well then I would start looking at you may need to replace the circuit breaker, they do go bad.
You need to use a knife or something to push down the small black release button then it will lift straight off. I got my daughter to push down the button as i lifted.
Move from side to side and jiggle the whole assembly .. including the juice collector and juicing basket. With patience and even a break between attempts it will finally dislodge itself and lift up and off.
Just juiced carrots and a couple apples .. mmmm good ;-) best of luck
Make sure the Juicer is unpluged. What you need is the cresent tool or two metal objects to place in the two holes opposite each other and press down the metal objects in the holes while turning counter clockwise. It kind of acts like a lock and key system.
LIFT UP AND SLIDE COVER RETAINING BRACKET OFF COVER, REMOVE COVER AND PLASTIC NUT THAT HOLDS DOWN BLADE. ALL PIECES JUST LIFT OUT, BUT KEEP TRACK OF THE ORDER THEY ARE REMOVED IN TO REINSTALL CORRECTLY.
LOOK UNDER WHERE YOU PUSH DOWN ON THE LATCH ARMS TO SECURE THE LID. ONE ONE SIDE THERE MAY BE A SMALL INTERLOCKING SWITCH WHICH WOULD PREVENT THE JUICER FROM RUNNING WITHOUT THE COVER LOCKED DOWN. USE A SMALL SCREW DRIVE TO CORRECT IF MISALIGNED. THE JUICER ALSO COMES WITH A 15 YEAR WARRANTY, SO OMEGA WILL FIX FOR FREE.
