Hi Lola, if you can't find a visible filter access, then you will have to tilt the machine backwards and you should be able to see the pump that way. It may not have a filter at all and the sump hose would need to be removed to gain access to any obstruction from tub to pump. If there's nothing blocking the pump then you most likely have a bad drain pump. I suggest calling a local repair company if you don't feel comfortable tackling this problem yourself. Hope that helps.

SOURCE: hotpoint aquarius WMA58 spinning but

Suggest you check pump filter.
you will find it located at the rear right side of the m/c.
Remove lower rear panel, there you will see a large black hose, remove securing clip, and detach hose, the filter is located inside, remove and clean, make sure you put everything back in the same order you took it off.
This should solve your prob. Make sure the drain hose is not clogged and the outlet is clear also.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Hotpoint aquarius WDL520 all lights flashing not spinning water still in bowl cant find instructions only bought it at xmas

There should be a small door at the front bottom of the machine, open it and unscrew the plunger. try that first as there could be a blockage.

The machine will not spin until the water is drained out.

The next step should be the pump out. If it is not pumping check your pump filter for obstructions. Check the drain hose and also your drain in the wall. If all are clear you may have a bad pump. You should have an error code coming up when the machine stops also, please let me know what it is. Thanks and I hope I can FixYa.

Sounds like water pressure could be low or inlet pipe is kinked.

F04: possible filling or water level problem. Check water inlet pipe (or shut-off valve), or the outlet pipe, or the pump or pump filter if accessible (check for blockages or foreign objects). Also could be the water valve solenoid weak, causing filling to be too slow.

F05: possible draining (pumping off) problem, check the pump filter, or pump, outlet pipe, or U-BEND.
