Try running a cup of white vinegar in a carafe of water through a couple of times to clean out any calcium deposits.

SOURCE: water leaks out from underneath coffee maker

Well they don;t give these away for sure. Lets see if we can help you out. ? are you over filling it.This happened to me because I was reading the fill line wrong. {got new glasses} . If not may be you could try makeing less. But if only 1/2 cup comes out and no more, that wouldent indacate a leak in the tank, if there was it would all leak. Try backing off on the coffie and water, and see if it still leaks. if it does get back to me. DFD

SOURCE: platinum B70 keurig coffee maker water heats up

1. Power off machine.

2. Using a metal paperclip, insert it into left side of top needle. It must insert at least 1" deep. Insert it into slot on right side and again from back of needle.

3. Remove KCup cradle. Separate bottom from top. In the top section, insert the paperclip up into bottom needle from the bottom upwards. It will not go all the way thru and this is normal.

4. Reassemble KCup cradle and reinsert it back into coffee maker.

5. Power on machine.

6. Brew a cup of water only. There may be coffee grounds in the water and these should eventually clear during the remaining steps. NOTE: A large cup brew cycle should output a full 8 ounces (235cc). Less means there is still a blockage

My grey & purple steam mop is getting very little steam at the head. is there a way to clean it without damaging the product? or is there another solution for low steam?

Mixing white vinegar with water about a cup of vinegar and a cup of water ratio and let it steam through the mop. This is also good for steam irons and other appliances such as coffee/tea makers. The acetic acid in the vinegar will dissolve the calcium build up that blocks the steam ports and will not hurt plastic or floors. If you object to the vinegar smell, then mix a little lemon juice with the last cup of water and this rids you of the vinegar smell. I use the white vinegar to mop the wooden floors in the house.

How to make ice tea , in the iced tea maker

Iced tea is made using citrus fruits such as citrus fruits, limes, lemons and even the berries. This recipe I've made use of charcoal powder. You can also make use of tea leaves. Green tea is also a good option to make the ice tea. Because tea is rich in antioxidants, it's a good idea to incorporate tea into your diet.

I've made use of organic, unrefined cane sugar to sweeten the tea. You can also add jaggery (though the flavor will differ) and any other sugar of your preference.
How to make iced Tea recipeSteeping tea
1. In a pan pour 1.25 litres water.
2. Place the pan over an open flame. Let the water get to a boiling point.
3. After the water has come to an end of boiling, turn off the burner and pour in 2 cups of black tea powder. To give a subtle tea taste one can add 1 tablespoon of tea powder. In lieu of powdered tea, you could make use of green or black tea leaves.
4. You can add 1/3-1/2 cup of sugar. For a taste that is less sweet you can add 1/4 cup of sugar.
5. Mix well, and let the tea leaves infuse within the water for 4 five minutes. If you want a milder tea flavor, steep for between 2 and 3 minutes.
6. After the tea has been steeped in the hot water add 3 tablespoons of lemon juice. To give it a more lemony flavor it is possible to include 4 tablespoons lemon juice as well. It is also possible to skip the lemon juice completely and just make simple cold tea.
7. Stir using the spoon
8. Then strain the tea into the glass or stainless steel jar. The glass jar must be able to withstand the temperature.
9. Allow the tea to cool to the room temperature. You can then chill it in the refrigerator.
10. As you serve Add four to five glasses of ice cubes. You can add more or less according to your taste. Additionally, you can add between 1 and 2 slices of lemon. The addition of lemon slices is not required.
11. Pour the tea into the glass.
12. Garnish with slices of lemon or a small sprig of mint leaves.
Serve tea with ice immediately. While drinking , stir the tea with an ice cube or stirrer.

How many scoops per cup?

Don't follow the machine directions for the coffee, follow the coffee
for amount per cup. Each coffee can call for a different amount.

Once you make a few pots with the same brand you will know if you want a stronger blend or weaker blend.

Start with 1 tablespoon per cup 6 oz of water.

Coffee maker brews too hot

The 1-4 setting makes the coffee extremely hot. If the 1-4 setting was not activated, make sure you are not using paper and permanent filters at the same time. If you are not using them at the same time, it is time to clean the coffee maker out with 2 cups vinegar and two cups water.

Gaggia Espresso Machine bought about 10 years ago

  1. if it is fine ground coffee sometimes you get this result at machines.
  2. low pressure pump = you get water from it but only when handle is out or steam valve open.
  3. pump with non return valve broken = in this case you get water if you open tea valve during pump works. this pump can work long even she has 1 valve damaged, only when she is empty you need to open steam valve and leave pump running while you don't get water from valve.

Keurig Special Edition B60

Hello,

I assume your coffe maker used to produce more coffee for each use. Roughly 6 ounces per large cup, and now is only making 3 oz. cups.

If your coffee maker is sputtering and not able to "suck" enough water to fill your cups of coffee it is most likely due to cavitation caused in the little pump due to a stoppage, which is most likely lime or scale buildup somewhere in the pump line.

To fix it, don't take your coffee maker apart. Get a bottle of distilled white vinegar, and pour it straight into the empty water resevoir. Press brew with no coffee pod so you are just running the vinegar through the system. Pour the vinegar out of the cup and back into the resevoir. Add some ice to cool it off. Repeat about 10 times. This should clear out the toughest lime scale clog.

After you notice the cups are filling full of water, Replace the vinegar with fresh water. Run about 5 or 6 cups of fresh water through the system to get rid of the vinegar.

Make coffee/tea/whatever.
