Hello Sergren, the indication of overload, can come for several reasons
1) The fan motor, outside resistive value is usually between 20 and 30 ohms, to measure it you must disconnect it from the circuit, if it is out of value you must replace it, it is very important that you get the same type of motor or fan assembly
2) The damaged output circuit, you can access the legs of the integrated power circuit RSN3305, taking off the lid that is in the base of the equipment, you must cut the grips that it brings, once the lid is removed, the legs of the integrated circuit are undone and remove it, then test the equipment that does not overload the display, if it does not appear the problem is in the output integrated and you must replace it
Several offers of sale of this integrated appear in Internet, confirms that it is a new and original spare, there are many that offer spare parts of disarmament
I sent you the link to download the SA-EX100 service manual
I hope you can solve the problem
Greetings Franco Dosil

SOURCE: I have a Technics SA-AX610 receiver that says overload .

From the manual pg 27....... "The protection circuitry has functioned because the positive and negative speaker connection wires are "shorted," speaker systems with an impedance less than the indicated rated impedance of this unit are used or under severe use, such as loud volume, excessive power and in an excessively hot environment."

SOURCE: Technics SA DA20

I have a Technics SA DA20 control receiver. I was given it by an electronics workshop and it has this same error of OVERLOAD coming into the display when switched on. I removed the plates from underneath and re-soldered as far as I could all the points along the stereo amplifier ICs and as far as access would allow. The unit then worked normally for several hours. I was very pleased, and went out shopping!. But on my return after it had been off for about an hour, the same problem has come back. But my boss at the electornics workshop thinks it it just a dry joint, or series of dry joints. The unit is complex to dismantle, so patience and care is required in taking it apart and making a note or diagram of how it comes to pieces and how to re-assemble it after the board has been re-soldered. It does not appear to be a component problem or fault with the SVI power amplifier ICs.

SOURCE: My Technics AV Control Receiver SA AX530 is in overload

An amplifier should never be turn on without speakers, it will overload internally.
make sure speakers work and try again.

Overload display

Follow the course of the capacitor using the printed circuit board track. It should leave to an semiconductor (IC or Transistor). Replace that. As that will be causing the cap to blow.

My Technics sa GX350 tuner keeps going into overload. It's the only thing plugged in.

Hi mate, had the same problem with my amp.. Take the top off and there is a fan at the back, there are 2 piece's of copper flat wire that touch together and these do not touch anymore so when its turned up or the bass gets stronger it cuts off as the fan should kick in at this point. If you can get these to touch again (bend them) then the problem will be gone!! I have had to do this a few times now though so this is not a long term fix.. I may try soldering!

Technics SA-G9057 overload

Check the fan connections at the back. The connections (just two flimsy metal prongs) came apart (I believe), so I have had to re-enforce them with electrical tape so the connections stay together until I investigate a further replacement fan. For now the connections are extremely sensitive to motion/viberation/impact/etc... but it does work now.
