I have a 2016 husqvarna yta18542 lawn tractor the bar that attaches to the forward reverse pedal came off by the transmission where does it attach to the transmission

Under the mower below the seat of the rider, at the rear of the tractor, look up and you will find the transmission there. There is a belt that runs on the pulley under there, and this belt can slip off when it gets worn or stretched. Sort of a tough spot to get to but, that is most probably cause.

Without more info, inspect drive belt and tensioner assembly from engine to tranny.

you need to screw the transmision adjustment in so that it is push all the way in to gear.
